This external gear pump mainly consists of a pair of gears supported on bearing bushings or bearings (depending on the series), and a pump casing with front and rear covers. The drive shaft protrudes from the front cover of the pump and is sealed by a shaft seal. These supporting forces on the bearing are absorbed by the special sliding bearing; because the sliding bearing has sufficient elasticity, it forms a surface contact instead of a line contact. Thanks to this, excellent wear resistance of the pump is also ensured - especially at low speeds. The pair of gears has 12 teeth each, which keeps the gear pump with minimal flow pulsation and noise.
